JD Remaps was built from a passion for vehicles, performance, and automotive diagnostics. As a fully qualified mechanic, I wanted to take my experience further and provide customers with a professional, reliable, and straightforward remapping service.
What makes JD Remaps different is the approach we take to every vehicle. We don’t believe in simply applying a generic file and sending the customer on their way. We look at the individual vehicle, its condition, ECU, and specific requirements before carrying out any work.

I’m a fully qualified mechanic with a strong passion for vehicles, diagnostics, and performance. I started JD Remaps to combine my mechanical experience with my interest in ECU tuning and provide customers with a reliable, professional service they can trust.
My experience gives me a good understanding of how different systems work together, from the engine and turbocharging system to fuel systems, sensors, ECUs, and emissions systems. This allows me to approach remapping from a mechanical and diagnostic perspective, rather than simply focusing on increasing power.
At JD Remaps, I use professional tuning and diagnostic equipment to identify faults, assess vehicles, and provide solutions suited to each individual vehicle. I take pride in being honest with customers about what their vehicle can safely achieve and making sure reliability and drivability remain a priority.
